Cafés, restaurants, and shopping facilities are within 2 to 10 minutes walking distance. The well known market hall with all kind of fresh fish of the Atlantic sea, fresh vegetables, homemade cheese, meat, bread, and wine is a 15 minutes walk away.
River of Sado
Setúbal is located at the mouth of the river Sado into the Atlantic. Dolphins cavort in the river Sado and like to show themselves to passing ships. After crossing the river, you reach the peninsula of Tróia with its beautiful white beaches.
Arrabida
The low mountain range of Arrábida, with its incredible hiking and biking possibilities, and the hidden small beaches at the Atlantic sea will stay in your heart forever.
